Hey!
I'm starting a new blog because: 1. the title of this one has run its course 2. I'm about to go on a crazy adventure.
It will be more than just about my dietary journey, as I'm traveling to a new land (Indonesia!), but my fruit & vegetable lifestyle will surely be a frequent topic.

Day 100 and Beyond!
Hey there to my three blog followers.... Haven't been posting in a while. Blogging every day totally helped me in the beginning to keep on it, but after I got my routine down, it eventually got to be too much.
Averages lately:
Sleep: average of 9 hours
Water: 1.5 - 2.5 gallons a day
Food: 4000-7000 calories a day. Fruits and greens.
Today:
breakfast: 20 bananas, 3 baskets of strawberries
lunch: 14 mangoes
dinner: 1.5 pounds of dates
Exercise: getting a wide range of exercise: running, gymnastic-type body weight exercises, cycling, dancing, swimming, little bit of weights, yoga.
Today:
Went for a hike/run with a friend, then did pull-ups, handstands, dips, core work. (made me hungry!)
Ain't no stoppin', I'm still poppin'!
Sooooo... I wasn't thinking very far into the future when I titled my blog. I feel too good to stop doing what I'm doing. The benefits outweigh by far the drawbacks (wait what are the drawbacks anyways, other than lack of conformity?). Fresh fruit! So simple and so good. My body loves the way I've been treating it.
Benefits off the top of my head:
Ridiculous recovery from exercise
Soooo much energy
Sooooo much joy
Calm
Steady energy
More in tune with intuition
Better mood
Clearer skin
No need for shampoo
Pleasant BO
I'm extending my challenge to a year. About 1/3 of the way there!

Day 29 - 33: 2/8/11 - 2/12/11
Sleep: average of 9 hours
Water: about a gallon a day
Food: finished off the rest of the bananas early in the week, been eating lotsa dates and oranges. Also made my first bulk greens purchase (well split a box of 24 with my friend Josh): 12 heads of red leaf lettuce from Catalan organic farm. Such a good idea! My favorite lettuce ever. So tender. I've been eating three heads a day since Thursday, and feeling so good! Yeah lettuce! Juiced a bunch of navel oranges yesterday for breakfast, sooo good I couldn't handle it.
Exercise: Getting back into aerial classes, feeling as strong as ever. Took an Acro-Balance class today, stood on people's shoulders, people stood on my shoulders. Cool!

Day 21-28: 1/31/11 - 2/7/11
I went away to Six Rivers National Forest. It was awesome. I had too much food, which was no problem!
Sleep: Slept well in the dark and quiet non-city nights.
Water: One of my favorite things about my stay was I was drinking water right out of the spring. Incredible! The best water I've had. Tap water doesn't do it for me anymore. I immediately smelled the chlorine when I took a shower after coming home. Started buying reverse-osmosis water in bulk at Berkeley Bowl. Tastes really clean, not like fresh from the spring, but good enough. I've always been a distilled water fan, but the fact that it comes in un-reusable plastic bottles bums me out. I've thought about getting a water distiller, but I've heard they're really slow and take alot of energy.
Food: I was over-prepared in a really great way. Brought 10# mandarins, 60+# bananas, picked up 80# more there, along with 12# dates, and 6# spinach. I have a new record for whole bananas in a single meal: 25. Maybe could have stuffed a few more in to prove a point, but I was pretty full after that!
Exercise: A break from all the aerial classes I've been taking. Instead took walking and running hikes, did push-ups, squats, chopped wood, jumped in the c-c-c-cold Klamath river.
